To make the long story short, MomM played matchmaker (and I was the assistant to the matchmaker). One being her student 學生 (Octopus), the other being her prentice 徒弟 (HoCloud), I'm pretty sure MomM "saw" something between them, even before they were introduced to each other...hahahaha! Anyways, this trip back to Taiwan was not only just to visit MomM and participate in the praying trip, it's also a meet & greet session for Octopus and HoCloud. Luckily, the attraction was there.
HoCloud visits Japan very often for business, so, to thank me (for "bring back" Octopus so he could meet her), he bought me some Japanese goodies. One of the boxes was some kind of banana-shaped cake with banana cream custard. A bit too sweet for me, but I appreciated the thought...hahahahaha!
After Octopus and HoCloud left for their first date, I started my research online for dinner. Unfortunately, MomM, Buddha Boy and I fell asleep and woke up at approximately 10pm...now what? I guess it's time for late-night AYCE...hahahaha!
Just when we're about to leave home, Octopus walked in the door...what? So early? To share all the stories of their first date, Octopus joined the three of us for a $399TWD/person (approximately $13.30CAD) late-night AYCE at Ding Shao 頂燒...yup, this girl can eat...hahahaha! Oh, did I mention there's Taiwan Beer too? And it's ALL-YOU-CAN-DRINK!!!
