After a day trip to Hope, Buddha Boy and I wanted Chinese food!!! We called and picked up Mushroom Boy and headed to this 24-hour restaurant. We ordered most of our dishes from the menu, "Family Dinner Set 溫馨家庭套餐".
We started off with a Wonton Soup 雲吞湯, which was something I was going to order if we're going a-la-carte. These wontons were not the greatest, but they definitely satisfied the cravings. Simply comforting.
One of our two main dishes was the Lemon Chicken 檸檬雞. This looked and tasted infinity times better than...what was that horrible place called? Hmmm...oh yea...Mr. Ho's Wonton House (see post 2011-06-29 Dinner @ Mr. Ho Wonton House 好好麵家). :p
Chicken w/Ginger & Green Onions 蔥爆雞球 was our other main dish. Good ratio of chicken to onion. This is usually a spicy dish, but not here at No.9. Nonetheless, this was good and went well with rice.
Our last item from the combo set was BBQ Pork Fried Rice 叉燒炒飯. Buddha Boy thought the rice was a bit bland but Mushroom Boy and I thought it was fine.
Of course, knowing us, we needed more food. Off the regular menu, we also ordered Deep-Fried Intestine 脆皮炸大腸 (which I forgot to take a picture of) and Deep-Fried Wonton 酥炸雲吞, an ATF of Buddha Boy at No.9. Big and plump, these dumplings satisfied Buddha Boy's "deep-fried" cravings...LOL!!!
