We met up with MomM and my brother at his new place after a quick visit to the the food court at Coquitlam Centre. After a short hangout, at about 10pm, we headed out for food again. Not wanting to go far, Worm took us to this little HK-style cafe at Henderson Place.
Buddha Boy ordered the Pork Chop with Salt & Pepper 椒鹽肉排. This was pretty straight forward...tender chops with tasty seasoning mix...however, nothing spectacular.
Buddha Boy also ordered the Stir-Fried Chicken with Special Sauce 醬爆雞球. Good amount of tender, well-marinated chicken stir-fried with celery, green pepper, mushroom and onion. The sauce had hints of hoisin and black bean. This went well with rice.
MomM ordered the Tung-Choy with Beancurd Paste 椒絲腐乳通菜, also known as water spinach or 空心菜. Interesting thing was, instead of using Thai chili (more commonly seen in Chinese restaurant), they used jalapeno...which added a nice fragrance. Unfortunately, this was over-salted.
Finally, my brother also gobbled down a plate of Bolognese Spaghetti 焗肉醬意粉. Yup, all members of Buddha family are big eaters...I think I should give my brother a new nick name...instead of "Worm"...he should be "The Garburator"...wahahahahahaha!

MomM and I (and my brother too) wanted the Shanghai Style Fried Noodle 上海粗炒. The order hd a good amount of shredded pork. The noodles were al dente with good wok-hei 鑊氣 (or 火候 in Mandarin). We all enjoyed this dish.
My brother was hungry, he was craving for a lot of stuff. He ordered the Diced Chicken & Pineapple in Fried Rice 夏威夷雞絲炒飯. This was not too bad...a bit on the bland side. The pineapple tasted off. Finally, my brother also gobbled down a plate of Bolognese Spaghetti 焗肉醬意粉.
